PSA CALABARZON Competes in the 3rd National CRVS Quiz Bee

On February 27, 2023, the 3rd National CRVS (3CRVS) Quiz Bee was conducted at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City wherein CALABARZON region was represented by the champion of the 3RCRVS, Mr. Karlo Marko B. Parreño from the City Civil Registrar’s Office of Antipolo City, Rizal. This competition was conducted as part of the 33rd Civil Registration Month celebration and aimed to raise awareness and improve the contestants’ understanding of the significance of not only Civil Registration and Vital Statistics, but also the PSA mandates such as statistics and the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). It also includes situational questions on various queries and problems affecting the public in terms of obtaining civil registry documents. By the end of the final round, Mr. Karlo Marko B. Parreño and the representatives from MIMAROPA Region, and Regions 11 and 12 were tied for 3rd place wherein the representative from Region 10 was declared as the 3rd place winner. (SGD.) CHARITO C.
