  The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) CALABARZON in support of the Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality and to commemorate National Women's Month this March, started wearing purple shirts on March 1 and encouraged all its employees to wear purple on all Wednesdays of March, as purple is the GAD globally recognized color. GAD Data, such as Women and Men infographics and special releases, are also shared on its website and social media pages, and the hashtag #WecanbeEquALL is utilized in all of its activities. They also have a GAD tarpaulin outside their workplace displayed on March 1 until March 31, 2023.   In line with this, the PSA CALABARZON is also conducting a variety of advocacy activities to support the Philippine Commission on Women's campaign and PCW Memorandum Circular No. 2023-01, where they visited and entertained women Senior Citizens (SCs) and distributed promotional materials in Sta. Ana - San Joaquin Bahay Ampunan Foundation Inc., located in Tanauan, Batangas on March 8, 2023, as well as assisted women SCs with Civil Registry Documents and National ID problems and concerns and registration on the same date, and held a Gender and Development (GAD)  Seminar on topics of GAD Latest laws such as Magna Carta of Women, Gender Sensitivity, and Fair-Language on March 13, 2023 and Basic Filipino Sign Language among its employees on March 14, 2023.   Furthermore, the PSA CALABARZON will open a GAD Exhibit showcasing different IEC materials at PSA Lipa City Outlet on March 20, 2023, to raise awareness on the importance of gender equality and women's empowerment not only among its workers, but also among the general public. The PSA urges the public to support its various activities in celebrating the National Women's Month, either online or in person, in order to honor the major contributions of Filipino women in nation building and towards the attainment of gender equality in the country.       (SGD.)
