The PSA Batangas in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) facilitated Step 2 Registration and PhilID Authentication for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). This collaboration took place during the Family Development Sessions (FDS) across various cities and municipalities in Batangas province.
Through this partnership, PSA Batangas aims to streamline the registration process and ensure the authentication of PhilIDs for 4Ps beneficiaries. By integrating these services into FDS, the team seeks to enhance accessibility and convenience for participants, enabling them to access vital government services more efficiently.
On February 21, 2024, the PhilSys Batangas City team initiated colocation during the most recent session held in Sitio Badjaoan, Malitam, Batangas City. During this session, the team successfully registered 38 beneficiaries and their family members for the national ID, issued 29 ePhilIDs, and authenticated 22 PhilIDs for 4Ps beneficiaries, predominantly indigenous people (IPs) residing in the area. This achievement underscores the team's dedication to advancing the objectives of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) and supporting the socio-economic welfare of Batangueños.
The collaboration between PSA Batangas and DSWD reflects concerted efforts to improve service delivery and promote social protection for marginalized communities, including indigenous people. Through DSWD's FDS, the partnership aims to provide valid identification and foster a sense of inclusion among these communities.
With strategic partnerships and community engagement, PSA Batangas remains committed to advancing the PhilSys agenda and enhancing the overall well-being of Batangas province residents.
