PSA Batangas Brings PhilSys Services to the Beneficiaries of Department of Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) Batangas Financial Assistance Payout in Bauan, Batangas A collaborative effort between the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas through the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Batangas City Team and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) SWAD was established in line with the national government's commitment to modernize and streamline citizen identification and financial assistance processes. This initiative aims to facilitate the seamless registration of individuals for their national ID during DSWD SWAD financial assistance pay-out events. On September 12, 2023, a PhilSys booth was set up during the financial assistance pay-out event at Herminigildo Jasa Dolor Coliseum, Manghinao Bauan, Batangas. During the course of the event, PhilSys Batangas City successfully registered a total of 17 individuals and were able to issue 15 ePhilIDs on the same day, streamlining the process and providing immediate access to this essential government-issued identification. The collaboration between PSA and DSWD in facilitating the registration and issuance of ePhilID during financial assistance pay-out events is a significant step toward achieving a more efficient and secure identification system for all citizens. The beginning of this partnership expands the possibility to reach more individuals nationwide, ensuring that every citizen can access the benefits and services they deserve through the PhilSys National ID system.
