  • The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Quezon Province increased from 202.30 billion pesos in 2021 to 217.84 billion pesos in 2022. This translates to a 7.7 percent growth in 2022, from 6.0 percent growth in 2021.
  • Further, the GDP level in 2022 exceeded the 2019 pre-pandemic level of 203.47 billion pesos.
  • In 2022, in terms of major industry groups, Agriculture, forestry, and fishing declined by 0.7 percent while Industry and Services grew by 10.4 percent and 10.1 percent, respectively. 

  • In terms of share of the three major industries, Services had the biggest share, accounting for 46.3 percent in 2022. Industry followed, with share of 32.1 percent. Meanwhile, Agriculture, forestry and fishing had the least share of 21.6 percent.

  • Among the 16 highlighted industries, fastest growing industries in 2022 were: Accommodation and food service activities, with 30.0 percent; Mining and quarrying, with 23.4 percent; and Construction, with 22.5 percent. 

  • In terms of share of industries to the economy of the province, the following contributed the biggest share: Agriculture Forestry and Fishing, with 21.6 percent; Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, with 15.9 percent; and Manufacturing, with 14.5 percent. 

  • Per Capita GDP of Quezon province was estimated at 108.18 thousand pesos in 2022, 6.6 percent higher than the 101.44 thousand pesos recorded in 2021.
