As the country observes its 33rd Civil Registration Month with the theme, “PSA @10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation”, PSA Quezon conducts a motorcade on February 10, 2023 at Lucena City, Quezon in partnership with the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) in the province of Quezon. The emphasis of the celebration is on continuously improving civil registration and vital statistics. The celebration also aims to encourage the Filipino people to register the important events in their lives such as birth, marriage as well as death and emphasize its importance. The motorcade, with PSA Quezon on the lead was participated by the forty-one LCROs of Quezon province. It was joined by DFA Lucena, RPI Lucena, PIA Quezon and PNP Lucena. About fifty motor vehicles from participating LCROs and government agencies, official vehicles of PSA Quezon and motorcycles of PSA Quezon staff traversed the main route of the motorcade that lasted for one hour and twenty minutes. The annual observance of Civil Registration Month (CRM) is pursuant to Proclamation No. 682 “Declaring the Month of February of Every Year as Civil Registration Month (CRM) signed by former President Corazon C.
