The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), as the lead implementing agency for the registration and issuance of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) has partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on the conduct of the PhilSys registration and authentication during the Family Development Sessions (FDS).

On 31 January 2024, the DSWD Regional office staff initiated a meeting with PSA Laguna in preparation for the roll out of the said joint activity. This coordination continued until 12 -13 February with the PhilSys Registration Center Supervisors (RCSs) of each city/municipality and DSWD City/Municipal Link of Laguna to discuss and finalize the schedule of the implementation of PhilSys registration among unregistered Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries from February to March 2024 and authentication of registered beneficiaries.

A virtual training for the RCSs and Registration Kit Operators (RKOs) was also held last 06-07 February to prepare the team for the authentication of registered members.
