There were 602 marriages registered in Quezon in December 2024. It recorded an increase of 77.1 percent from the previous month’s total of 340.
The daily average of registered marriages during the month was 19, higher than the recorded daily average of 11 in November 2024.

Marriages by Place of Occurrence…
Sariaya (88 or 14.6%) had the highest number of registered marriages, followed by Lucena City (84 or 14.0%) and Tagkawayan (82 or 13.6%).
Candelaria with 45 or 7.5 percent and City of Tayabas with 38 or 6.3 percent recorded the next highest registered marriages.
Around 58.5 percent of the 41 municipalities/cities in the province registered less than ten (10) marriage occurrences during the month.
No marriage event was recorded in the municipalities of Alabat, Patnanungan and Perez.
Marriages by Month…
For the period of December 2023 to December 2024, July was the most favored month to marry, with a total of 854 marriages, or a daily average of 28 marriages.
June had the next highest number of marriages with 801 or a daily average of 27.
August recorded the least number of marriages with 321 or a daily average of 10.
Marriages by Nationality of Groom and Bride…
About 99.7 percent of the grooms and all of the brides were Filipinos in the registered marriages in December.
There were two (2) intermarriages between Filipino brides and grooms of foreign descent.
