This report summarizes the data gathered from May 2021 documents submitted from the local civil registry offices of the thirteen municipalities and a city in the province of Rizal. The number of vital events in Rizal for reached 6,950 registered documents. This represents 6.19% increase from the 6,545 registered vital events from the previous month. The province generated the following statistics: four thousand three hundred five (4,305) for birth, seven hundred twelve (712) for marriage and one thousand nine hundred thirty three (1,933) for death. Civil registration is a continuous, permanent, and compulsory recording of vital events occurring in the life of an individual such as birth, marriage, and death as well as court decrees, and legal instruments affecting his civil status in appropriate registers as mandated by Act No. 3753, the Civil Registry Law. In this May 2021 issue, the Philippine Statistics Authority of Rizal presents the number of births, marriages, and deaths registered by municipalities in the province. The data are preliminary result from the Decentralized Vital Statistics System 2011 based on the documents submitted (Timely and Late Registered) by the Local Civil Registry Offices in Rizal.
