This special release presents statistical data on marriages occurring for the month of November 2022 in the Province of Cavite. This publication shows the disaggregated data of registered marriages by registration status down to city/municipal level. It also presents the total registered marriages by place type, type of ceremony and age group. The civil registry documents transmitted by the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) to Cavite Provincial Office for machine processing served as the source of data in preparation of this publication.   Marriages in Cavite   Table 1 shows that the municipality of Silang recorded the highest registered marriages of 214, followed by Tagaytay City and City of Imus with 134 and 111 weddings, respectively. The least registered marriages were recorded in the municipality of General Emilio Aguinaldo with five (5), followed by Magallanes and Ternate with seven (7) and eight (8) weddings, respectively.   A total of 1,094 marriages were registered in the Province of Cavite for the month of November 2022. Timely registered marriages accounted for 1,081 or 98.8% while late registered marriages accounted for 13 or 1.2%. The highest number of late registered,marriages were from Mendez and Silang; both municipalities had two (2) lateregistered marriages. Out of 23 cities/municipalities in the province, nine municipalities and three cities had no late registrations. Figure 1 shows that among the place types for marriage, Office of the Mayor, Judge and the like had the highest number of weddings with 500 or 45.7%, followed by Others with 310 or 28.3%, and Church with 284 or 26.0%.       On the other hand, Figure 2 shows that among the type of ceremonies, Civil Wedding rites had the highest registered marriages with 499, followed by Other Religious Rites and Roman Catholic Church with 311 and 282, respectively. Muslim Wedding had the least with only two (2) reported marriages.   Moreover, Figure 3 shows that majority of the brides and grooms were from the age group of 25-29 with 391 grooms and 457 brides. It was followed by the age group of 30-34 with 366 grooms and 311 brides. The age group of under twenty (20) had the least with only two (2) grooms and 9 brides. Summary   The Province of Cavite recorded a total of 1,094 marriages for the month of November 2022. Silang had the highest registered marriages of 214 while General Emilio Aguinaldo had the least with five (5) marriages. Majority were timely registered. Late registered marriages were only 13. No late registered marriages were reported in 3 cities and 9municipalities in the province.   Office (Mayor, Judge, etc.) was the most common wedding venue. Civil wedding dominated as the most preferred type of ceremony. Most grooms and brides were from the age group of 25-29 and the least were from the age group of under 20.

There were 698 marriages registered in Quezon in February 2024. It recorded a decrease of 2.92 percent from the previous month’s total of 719.

DEATH STATISTICS IN QUEZON: February 2024 (Preliminary Results)

There were 1,198 registered deaths in Quezon in February 2024. It recorded a decrease of 22.4 percent from the previous month’s figure of 1,543.
