This special release provides data on approved building permits that covers all municipalities and cities for the construction of residential and non-residential structures, additions/repairs, renovation, and demolitions in the Province of Cavite that occurred during the month of July 2022.   Data gathered from approved building permits of various Local government offices of the province were generated for the purpose of calculating the national income accounts and estimating the level of construction activity.  The total number of buildings constructed for the month of July was 3,727 buildings. Based on Table 1, The City of Imus had the most buildings constructed totaling 921, followed by Municipality of Tanza and Trece Martires City with 905 and 867 constructions, respectively. Also showed significant numbers of buildings contructed were municipality of Naic with 222 and City of General Trias with 205. There’s no recorded construction projects scheduled to begin in the Municipality of Magallanes in July 2022. There were seven municipalites with less than ten numbers of building constructed. There were Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Maragondon, Mendez, Noveleta, Rosario, Ternate, and Gen. M. Alvarez. As Shown in table 1, the City of Imus also got the highest Floor area Value for the month of July 2022, with a total of 72,963 sqm for Floor Area and 849,304 for Value (PHP1,000). This was followed by Municipality of Tanza with a Floor area of 42,847 sqm and 420,566 for Value (PHP1,000). and Trece Martires City with a total floor area of 41,723 sqm and 301,893 for Value (PHP1,000). Figure 1 shows that the total building built during the month of July 2022 were 3,467 buildings. Three percent or 106 of the total number of buildings constructed were nonresidential, while 97.0% or 3,361 total were residential. As shown in Figure 2, the majority of buildings built in July 2022 were new construction residential/non-residential with 3,467 buildings, followed by additions with 213 and alterations and repairs with the least number of 47 construction projects. Table 2 Shows that City of General Trias had the most construction with 85 new constructions, followed by City of Imus and City of Bacoor with 59 and 38 addition construction, respectively. Municipalities of Indang with 9 and Tanza with 8 newly constructed buildings.   There have been no additional construction projects reported for the month of July 2022 in the Municipalities of Alfonso, Amadeo, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Kawit, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez-Nuñes, Noveleta, Rosario, Silang, Ternate and Gen. M. Alvarez.   Based on table 2, the City of General Trias recorded the highest value (PHP 1,000) with a total of 3,751 sqm for the Floor area and 38,003 for Value in additional construction for the month of July 2022. This was followed by City of Bacoor with a total floor area of 1,749 sqm and City of Imus with 1,565 sqm. The Cities of Bacoor and Imus received high values for the Value, with 15,973 and 14,747 respectively.   Table 3 showed the City of Bacoor had the most alterations and repairs made with a total of 24. Also, with more alteration and repairs were Municipality of Carmona and Trece Martires City both with Six. Cities of Dasmariñas and Gen. Trias with three buildings and City of Imus and Cavite City both with two approved alteration and repairs.   For the month of July 2022, the Municipality/Cities of Alfonso, Amadeo, Gen. E. Aguinaldo, Indang, Kawit, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez-Nuñez, Naic, Noveleta, Rosario, Silang, Tagaytay City, Ternate and Gen. M. Alvarez had no reported number of alteration and repairs construction.   The City of Bacoor also registered the highest value for construction on alterations and repairs for the month of July 2022 with 41,089 as a whole for Value (PHP1,000), followed by Trece Martires City and Municipality of Carmona with 4,042 and 3,838 respectively.   For the month of July, the province as a whole had 3,467 buildings under construction. 3,361 of the 3,467 buildings or 97 percent were constructed as homes, while 106 nonresidential structures construction this month, amounting to three percent of the total.   The City of Imus had the most buildings constructed totaling 921, followed by Municipality of Tanza and Trece Martires City with 905 and 867 constructions, respectively.
