The economy of the province of Laguna was valued at PhP 922.3 billion in 2021, the highest among the five provinces and one highly urbanized city (HUC) in the region.
The headline inflation in Laguna accelerated to 5.5 percent in November 2022 from 5.2 percent in October 2022. Moreover, this is higher than the recorded inflation rate in the same month of 2021 at 3.2 percent.
The headline inflation in Laguna accelerated to 4.8 percent in September 2022 from 3.7 percent in August 2022. Moreover, this is equal to the recorded inflation rate in the same month of 2021 at 4.8 percent.
The headline inflation in Laguna was dropped to 3.7 percent in August 2022 from 4.6 percent in July 2022. Moreover, this is a 0.8 percent index point decrease over the recorded inflation rate in the same month of 2021 at 4.5 percent.
