PSA IV-A Attends the PAGBA 1st Quarterly Seminar Meeting In Iloilo City

In response to the invitation from the Philippine Association for Government Budget Administration, Inc. otherwise known as the PAGBA, Inc., two personnel from the PSA RSSO IV-A namely, Budget Officer Anselma A. Fajutagana and Records Officer Marife R. Molon, attended the PAGBA 1st Quarterly Seminar Meeting on February 7-10, 2-018 held in Iloilo City. Anchored on the theme: ASEAN Integration and Public Financial Management Reforms Towards Sustainable Shared Growth, more than a thousand delegates coming from various agencies were warmly welcomed by the PAGBA Team at The Mansion where the 3-day event was held. It was a humbling experience as various topics on Budget, Procurement, Disposal and Appraisal of Properties were discussed by credible speakers who are all masters of their crafts, holding top positions in the government sector and they gallantly shed light on the different topics giving inputs on actual case scenario experienced by most of the participants. The PAGBA quarterly Meeting Seminar served as a venue for all government budget and accounting personnel to converge and keep abreast on the laws, rules and regulations among other updates which are deemed helpful relative to the performance of their duties as government personnel. The PAGBA Inc. is an organization established since 1968 presently led by its Chairman, Ms. Zenaida B. Chang who happens to be the former Asst. Comm. of the Bureau of Internal Revenue with the assistance of the other PAGBA Officers and Board of Trustees.
