The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) team in Batangas has strengthened its partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Batangas, prioritizing National ID registration for all beneficiaries. This collaboration aims to ensure that all Pantawid beneficiaries are registered under the National ID system, as it becomes a key requirement for accessing their 4Ps benefits.
In coordination with the DSWD 4Ps’ parent leaders and city/municipal links, PhilSys Batangas is actively working to schedule National ID registrations across various barangays. Registration teams will set up operations at barangay halls and during DSWD system caravans, making the process more accessible and convenient for beneficiaries. In the Municipality of Rosario, for instance, Municipal Link Ms. Andrea D. Magsino has collaborated closely with the PhilSys team to arrange registration schedules across the municipality’s barangays from November to December. This initiative supports the Family Development Session (FDS) equivalency requirement, which mandates National ID registration for all household members receiving 4Ps benefits.
Efforts to support National ID registration are also underway in various municipalities and cities across all districts of Batangas Province, with system caravans and colocation activities mobilized to accommodate and prioritize 4Ps beneficiaries. Through these ongoing partnerships, PhilSys Batangas and DSWD Pantawid aim to make National ID registration accessible to all eligible residents in the province.
This coordinated effort between PhilSys Batangas and DSWD Pantawid is part of a broader strategy to expand National ID registration access across the province.
