An Appreciation Training on the System of Environment-Economic Accounting (SEEA) 2012 – Central Framework for Luzon Cluster was conducted by the Environment and Natural Resources Accounts Division of PSA Central Office last February 19-21, 2018 at The Linden Suites, Pasig City. This is part of the PSA’s goal to capacitate its technical staff, particularly on the basic concept of SEEA 2012 and also serves as an advocacy in support of the Environment and Natural Resources accounts compilation.  The training was participated by the Regional Directors and two technical staff from each Regional Statistical Services Office in Luzon. Dir. Charito C. Armonia, Senior Statistical Specialist Charity Bautista and Statistical Analyst Lou Darlence Mitra represented the RSSO IV-A in the said training.  The main objectives of the training were to orient the participants on the basic concepts of the SEEA-Central Framework, to gain appreciation of the framework, and with the goal to compile environmental accounts in the subnational level in the long run.  Parts of the training were the individual and group exercises which helped the participants to better understand and appreciate the topics discussed.
