The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional Statistical Services Office Region IV-A (CALABARZON) is currently holding the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) – Second Level Training for the Rollout and Operation Preparation, from June 17 to 25, 2022 at a Hotel in Lipa City, Batangas. The training is conducted in a hybrid set-up (online and onsite), with participants coming from the PSA Regional and Provincial offices, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), University of Rizal System (URS), Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU).   According to PSA Region IV-A Regional Director Charito C. It is also intended to serve as a basis for targeting beneficiaries of the government's various social protection programs and to provide inputs to a more comprehensive poverty analysis. Furthermore, not all Local Government Units (LGUs) will conduct the CBMS in their locality. Only PSA-funded LGUs and those that have allocated funds for its conduct will be part of the CBMS rollout. Data will be collected on August 8 to October 5, 2022 from thirty-one (31) cities/municipalities in partnership with the concerned LGUs that are included in this year's CBMS implementation as follows:   For Batangas, included are Alitagtag, Balete, Batangas City, Bauan, Lemery, San Nicolas, Sta.
