Number of Marriages... there were 670 marriages registered in Quezon in July 2022. It recorded a decrease of 32.12 percent from the previous month's total of 987. The daily average of registered marriages during the month was 22, lower thatn the recorded daily average of 33 in June 2022. Marriages by Place of Occurence... Lucena city (99 or 14.8 percent) had the highest number of reistred marriages, followerd by Sariaya (69 or 10.3 percent) and Panukulan (55 or 8.2 percent). City of Tayabas (47 or 7.0 percent) and Candelaria (36 or 5.4 percent) recorded the next highest registered marriages. Around 53.7 percent of the 41 municipalites/cities in the province registered less than 10 marriage occurences during hte month. Marriages by Type of Ceremony... The most number of registered marriages was solemnized under civil rites, with 311 or 46.4 percent. Marriages performed under church rites totaled 285 accounting for 42.5 percent of the total registered marriages. There wer ethreee marriage event celebrated under Muslim rites, equivalent to 0.4 percent. Marriages celebrated uncer other types of ceremonies comprised 10.4 percent.
