The Philippine Statistics Authority – Quezon Provincial Statistical Office, in coordination with the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) headed by Ms. Leonora B. Pulga, conducted a National ID registration activity from April 28 to May 3, 2025 in Gumaca, Quezon.
This initiative aimed to register social pension beneficiaries and senior citizens of Gumaca to the National ID System, ensuring they gain easier access to government services and benefits.
Prior to the registration proper, Registration Officer II Kristhyle Anne C. Jarviňa briefly discussed the National ID services, highlighting the key benefits and the advantages of being registered under the National ID System. She also emphasized the three (3) available formats of the National ID, the physical PhilID card, the National ID in paper format (ePhilID), and the Digital National ID.
During the six-day event, a total of three hundred fifty (350) individuals successfully registered to the National ID System. Additionally, ninety-four (94) paper-format National IDs (ePhilIDs) were issued on the same day, while one hundred fifty (150) ePhilIDs were issued upon clients’ request to immediately enjoy the benefits of being registered while waiting for the delivery of their physical National ID card.
