PRESS RELEASE: PSC Quezon Conducts 1st Quarterly Meeting for 2023

The Provincial Statistics Committee of Quezon (PSCQ) conducted its 1st Quarterly Meeting for 2023 on 15 February 2023 at the Conference Room of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Quezon Provincial Statistical Office, Lucena City. The meeting was presided by Engr. Russell C. Narte, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) and PSC Chairperson. It was participated in by PSC members from different government agencies, academe and representatives from private sectors. The following business matters were discussed during the meeting: 1) Approving the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) - Quezon and the Provincial Veterinary Office – Quezon as members of PSCQ; 2) 2022 PSC Quezon Accomplishment Report; 3) Orientation on the possible Statistical Development Program; and 4) Presentation of various data from different member agencies. Other matters discussed include the harmonization of PSA map data with LGU maps and the preliminary activities for the conduct of the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries. The committee passed and approved the following resolutions: 1) Resolution No. 1 series of 2023 – Approving the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) – Quezon and the Provincial Veterinary Office – Quezon as Members of the Provincial Statistics Officer of Quezon Province; and 2) Resolution No. 2 series of 2023 – Adopting the Quezon Provincial Statistics Committee CY 2022 Accomplishment Report.
