This allows vulnerable sectors of the society to bring the registration closer to their community.   Based on the data of National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) confirmed by Chieftain Alas Jallaali, there are three hundred forty-five (345) Sama-Bajau individuals or commonly known as “Badjao” residing in barangay Barra, Lucena City, Quezon. With this, PSA Quezon conducted orientation on the use and benefits of National ID such as eligibility and access to government social welfare assistance program, school admission and other related transactions that requires proof of identity and age. Successful registrants who completed the step 2 registration presented original copy of barangay certification,  birth certificate, or 4Ps ID as their documentary requirements in enrolling to PhilSys. IPs registration was held last 16 June 2023 in barangay Barra covered court.
