Household population comprises 99.9 percent of the total population 1. As of 01 May 2020, municipality of Laurel had a total population of 43,210 persons. Of this total, the household population comprised 99.9 percent or 43,190 persons. This is 3.8 thousand higher than the 39,405 household population in 2015, and 7.6 thousand more than the 35,638 household population posted in 2010. 2. The total number of households in Laurel reached 9,626 in 2020. This is higher by 1.1 thousand compared with the 8,563 households in 2015 and by 2.4 thousand compared with 7,258 households in 2010. 3. The average household size (AHS) in Laurel slightly decreased from 4.6 persons in 2015 to 4.5 persons in 2020. In 2010, there were 4.9 persons on average, per household.
