Batangas City, Batangas – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas officially launched the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) on February 5, 2025, with an opening ceremony held at the PSA Batangas office. The event emphasized the significance of civil registration and the continuous improvements in the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) system.

Chief Statistical Specialist Raul Maximo B. Tolentino delivered an inspiring message highlighting this year’s CRM theme, “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System.” He underscored the vital role of civil registration in ensuring every Filipino’s legal identity and access to essential government services.

The ceremony was followed by a discussion on updates regarding delayed registration led by Jeanette L. Veyra, Registration Officer I, who provided important guidelines and clarifications on the process. Karlo Maru M. Dimaano then conducted an orientation on the CRS Mobile Outlet, detailing its function in bringing PSA services closer to the people.

As part of the celebration, an ongoing CRS Mobile Outlet was made available at the PSA Batangas office, offering real-time issuance of civil registry documents to PSA Batangas employees and walk-in applicants. This initiative aims to provide faster and more convenient access to birth, marriage, and death certificates, reinforcing PSA’s mission of efficient civil registration services.
