The Philippine Statistics Authority - Quezon doubles its effort to ensure the inclusion of all Filipinos to Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) by utilizing the Registration on Wheels (RoW) strategy. Registration team uses vehicles to saturate areas with remaining unregistered population and reach all far-flung and geographically isolated barangays with potential unregistered individuals.

The RoW activity in Quezon province started on the last quarter of the previous year  and is still on-going in several cities/municipalities. Specifically, RoW teams are currently roving in the barangays of 21 municipalities and cities of Quezon covering the four districts of Quezon.

There are also PhilSys on-site registration services that are in schools, institutions and selected government agencies to cover all unregistered population. Successful registrants are also issued ePhilIDs on the same day so that they can readilly use the same as a valid proof of identity in any transactions with the government and private institutions. Meanwhile, PhilSys Fixed Registration Center located at the 3rd Floor Pacific Mall, Lucena City remains for walk-in applicants.
