
The Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office IV-A (PSA RSSO IV-A) successfully conducted an Information Dissemination Session at Royal British College, Inc. (RBC) on 13 February 2025, in line with the celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month with this year’s theme: “Building a Resilient, Agile & Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System.”
The event aimed to educate and engage RBC students and faculty on the importance of civil registration and its impact on public service delivery. It began with an inspiring Opening Message from PSA Chief Administrative Officer Wilma A. Villafuerte, followed by a Welcome Message from RBC Administrative Head Ms. Ranielyn I. Ortega, who emphasized the significance of accurate and timely civil registration.
The session covered key topics essential for students' and faculty members' awareness and understanding, including:
• Civil Registration Laws
• Gender and Development (GAD) Basic Concepts
• Vital Statistics Results
• National Identification System
The activity concluded with Closing Remarks from PSA Registration Officer IV Marife C. Bautista, who expressed gratitude to the students and faculty for their active participation and commitment to supporting a strong and future-ready civil registration system.
The PSA RSSO IV-A, in collaboration with Royal British College, Inc., continues to advocate for awareness and education on civil registration, reinforcing its goal of building a resilient and efficient vital statistics system.
