The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) demonstrated its unwavering commitment to public service by joining the Provincial Assistance for Community, Public Employment, and Youth & Sports Development Office and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in the successful implementation of the Special Overseas Job Fair Caravan last November 22, 2024, at the Capitol Site, Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. The event provided a platform for hundreds of job seekers to explore overseas employment opportunities while accessing vital government services.
The PSA-Regional Statistical Services Office 4A (PSA-RSSO IV-A) actively participated by establishing a Help Desk which catered to a wide array of inquiries regarding the processing of civil registry documents, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and certificates of no marriage (CENOMAR), which are often required for overseas job applications.
By providing clear guidance and facilitating access to these documents, the PSA Help Desk streamlined the preparation of essential employment requirements, reducing barriers for job seekers aspiring to work abroad.
The PSA Help Desk was warmly received by attendees, who appreciated the convenience of accessing government services in a single venue. Beyond addressing documentation needs, the PSA also shared information on its programs and services, ensuring that job seekers were well-informed and equipped to meet their employment goals.
The PSA’s active involvement in the event reflects its steadfast commitment to improving public service delivery through innovation, accessibility, and collaboration. By addressing the documentation needs of job seekers, the PSA not only contributed to the success of the event but also reaffirmed its role as a key partner in advancing the employment aspirations of Filipinos.
