In line with the continuous effort to bring government services closer to the people, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas successfully conducted a mobile National ID registration activity on April 24, 2025, at the City Hall of Santo Tomas City, Batangas, during the scheduled Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) Outlet in the LGU Santo Tomas City.
A total of 84 individuals were registered during the activity, most of whom were senior citizens seeking to secure their National ID to comply with requirements for claiming government benefits and social services.
This initiative underscores the PSA’s commitment to inclusivity by making registration more accessible to priority sectors, especially elderly residents who may face mobility and logistical challenges.
The activity was made possible through the support of the Local Government Unit of Santo Tomas City, Batangas and Office of the Local Civil Registrars of Santo Tomas City, which provided the venue and assisted in informing eligible residents. The Mobile CRS Outlet also extended other civil registration services during the event.
The PSA Batangas continues to coordinate with local governments and community organizations to hold similar activities in various areas, especially targeting unregistered individuals from vulnerable and underserved sectors.
