Fisheries production for the 4th Quarter 2021 increased by 12.9 percent. The total volume of fisheries production in Quezon province during the fourth quarter of 2021 was estimated at 13, 307.73 metric tons. It increased by 12.9 percent from the 11, 785 metric tons reported in the same quarter of 2020. This was brought about by the increase in the output from the threee sub-sectors, namely, municipal fisheries (16.4 percent), aquaculture (12.9 percent) and commercial fisheries (7.4 percent).
