Fisheries production for 2021 decreased by 7.9 percent. The total volume of fisheries production in Quezon province during the year was estimated at 58, 719.42 metrict tons. It decreased by 7.9 percent from the 63, 758.34 metric tons reported in 2020. This was brought about by the decrease in the output from the two sub-sectors, namely, commercial fisheries (33.3 percent) and municipal fisheries (16.5 percent). Meanwhile aquaculture went up by 12.8 percent.
