The headline inflation in the province of Batangas jumped to 7.0 percent in August 2021 from 5.5 percent in July 2021. This is the highest inflation recorded since 2019. With the August 2021 inflation, Batangas average inflation from January to August 2021 stood at 4.9 percent.
