Nine municipalities and one city in Quezon are participating in this first ever PSA - led CBMS. Fifth class municipalities such as Agdangan, Jomalig, Perez, Plaridel, Quezon, and Sampaloc, and sixth class City of Tayabas join this project through PSA funds. Said areas including the three LGU - funded municipalities of Real, Pitogo and Polillo have started the initial phases of the CBMS operation. This year’s CBMS rollout will cover 220 barangays from the 10 participating municipalities/city. The conduct of 2022 CBMS is pursuant to Republic Act No. 11315 otherwise known as the CBMS Act approved on 17 April 2019. The CBMS aims to gather comprehensive data from households which can be used by local planners in their social protection and welfare programs.
