The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Batangas proudly joined the Araw ng Kalayaan Job Fair held at SM City Lipa last June 12, 2024, bringing valuable services and information to the local community. In a significant initiative to promote the national ID system, the PhilSys team from Lipa set up a registration booth, offering assistance to job seekers and other attendees in registering for their national ID.

Throughout the day, the PhilSys booth accommodated individuals inquiring about the national ID and its benefits. The PhilSys team not only facilitated the registration process but also educated the public on the newly launched digital national ID, highlighting its applications in both private and public transactions. This digital ID aims to simplify various processes, making transactions more efficient and secure.

The PhilSys Batangas team successfully registered 10 individuals during the event. This effort underscores the PhilSys' commitment to ensuring that every citizen has access to the national ID, which is crucial for accessing various services and opportunities.

The event was spearheaded by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Lipa and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Batangas Provincial Office, in partnership with SM City Lipa. The collaboration of these organizations made the job fair a resounding success, providing job seekers with a platform to explore employment opportunities while simultaneously availing themselves of essential government services.
