Inflation in the region for April 2022 was measured at 4.7 percent, which is higher compared to its previous month record at 3.8 percent. In contrast, this is 0.5 percent index point lower than the recorded inflation rate in the same month of 2021 at 5.2 percent. Inflation rate in April 2022 matched the average annual inflation rate of 2021 at 4.7 percent.
