For 2021, projected mid-year population of CALABARZON was estimated at 16,361,107.  By 2025, the region’s population was projected to reach 17,477,569.
By 2025, it was estimated that female population (8,745,950) will surpass the male population (8,731,619).

Comparing the 2020 and 2025 population pyramid, by 2025, it is projected that the base of the pyramid is slowly tapering off, which means that there will be more people in the age group10-14 than those belonging to age groups 0-4 and 5-9 years old.  Old-Age population will also expand slowly, by 2025, indicating that people of CALABARZON tend to have longer life span.
By 2025, men will still dominate the younger age group; while women will dominate the older age groups starting at age group 35-39.

VITAL STATISTICS
Vital statistics are derived from information obtained at the time when the occurrences of vital events and their characteristics are inscribed in a civil register. Vital acts and events are the births, deaths, fetal deaths, marriages, and all such events that have something to do with an individual's entrance and departure from life together with the changes in civil status that may occur to a person during his lifetime. Recording of these events in the civil register is known as vital or civil registration and the resulting documents are called vital records.

Vital records of the PSA for CY 2018 and 2019 shows that:
·    There were more male live births than female live births.
·    Both male and female births had slightly slowed down by 0.12 and 0.01 percent, respectively.
·    Sex ratio was at 109 which means that there were 109 male live births for every 100 female live births.
Data is by Usual residence of the mother.
